Student Privacy

Before using technology in your classroom, we must understand the law concerning student privacy.

If an app requires the use of student PII (Personal Identifiable Information) such as name, e-mail address, or student identifier, parental approval may be required.

This is information about specific web apps, including information about rostering and student accounts.

These are guidelines for reviewing online instructional apps for privacy considerations.

If you have a student who has opted out of Supplemental Digital Resources and needs to opt back in, this is the form to do so.

This is a suggested permission slip/form you can send home with students with whom you plan to use Web Apps. You can save your own copy and customize it.
